Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our funeral services. By engaging our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full.

1. Service Agreement

1.1. GoSimply Funerals agrees to provide funeral services as detailed in the funeral arrangement form signed by the client.

1.2. Any variations to the agreed services must be confirmed in writing and may result in additional charges.

1.3. We reserve the right to decline any request for services at our discretion.

2. Payment Terms

2.1. A deposit of £1,000 is required before the funeral service can take place.

2.2. The final balance is due within 28 days of the funeral service.

2.3. We accept payment by cash, credit/debit card, or bank transfer.

2.4. Late payments may incur additional charges and interest at 2% above the Bank of England base rate.

3. Disbursements

3.1. Third-party costs (disbursements) must be paid in advance of the funeral service.

3.2. We will provide an estimate of disbursements, but actual costs may vary.

3.3. Any changes to disbursement costs will be communicated as soon as possible.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1. Cancellation must be made in writing to our office.

4.2. Any costs incurred up to the point of cancellation must be paid in full.

4.3. Disbursements already paid to third parties may not be refundable.

5. Personal Data

5.1. We collect and process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.

5.2. Information will be used only for the purpose of providing funeral services.

5.3. We comply with all relevant data protection legislation.

6. Liability

6.1. We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our services.

6.2. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control.

6.3. Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

7. Complaints Procedure

7.1. Complaints should be made in writing to our office within 14 days of the service.

7.2. We will acknowledge complaints within 3 working days.

7.3. We aim to resolve all complaints within 28 days.

8. Professional Standards

8.1. We adhere to the Code of Practice of the National Association of Funeral Directors.

8.2. We maintain high standards of care and professionalism at all times.

8.3. All staff are appropriately trained and qualified.
